Community Engagement
As co-producers of the event, Andrew and I envisioned an event that transcends the typical magic show. Our aim is in uniting people through the universal language of magic. With a shared passion for the art of magic, we sought to create an inclusive space where local communities could intersect and come together to enjoy an experience of magic.
The concept for Middle Street Magic blossomed from a simple conversation, evolving into a collaborative effort to weave a tapestry of enchantment. Our goal was clear: to provide a platform for local magicians to showcase their talents, and foster community engagement.
Supporting Mental Wellbeing
The location we have chosen for the show is Middle Street Resource Centre, a beacon of mental health support and community empowerment. By hosting our event at this fantastic venue, we aim to shine a spotlight on the great work that they do, while also spreading joy through the transformative power of magic.
We’re so pleased to be able to use this space to bring this event to life, to share magic here and connect the community. The energy and community spirit felt in the building is inspiring and we are sure you will feel this too. The welcoming atmosphere perfectly complements the magic and camaraderie of the event.
Unforgettable Experience
Guests can expect an evening brimming with excitement. It starts with close-up magic and interactive entertainment in the cozy confines of the foyer cafe. From there, they’ll be ushered into the main hall for a captivating showcase of illusion and spectacle, featuring performances by Andrew, myself, and other talented magicians from the local community.
